social worker at Jefferson Middle School

Lakeview High School. She is at Jefferson Middle School
on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
morning.
She is at
Lakeview
High School on Tuesday,
Thursday, and Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Brunson provides services
to students that are receiving
special education.
The students on her
caseload may have significant
academic, social, behavioral,
and/or familial issues. She
meets with students individually
and in small groups.
Mrs. Brunson also works
with Mrs. Denison, and Mrs.
Bulski to provide classroom
presentations during Yellow
Ribbon Week (suicide
prevention).
Mrs. Brunson is also
available to provide parents and
guardians with various community
resources.

Bulski is the counselor at
Jefferson Middle School. She is
in the building Monday through
Friday. Her office is located in
the Attendance Office. Mrs.
Bulski is available to see all
students who have not been
identified on Mrs. Brunson or
Mrs. Denison’s caseload. Mrs.
Bulski meets with students for a
variety of reasons that
typically fall into the
following categories:
Scheduling, Crisis Management,
Personal/Academic Concerns, and
school-wide standardized
testing. Mrs. Bulski also works
with Mrs. Denison and Mrs.
Brunson to provide classroom
presentations during Yellow
Ribbon Week (suicide
prevention), and Red Ribbon Week
(substance abuse prevention).

with various community

Denison is the regular education
social worker at JMS. She is in
the building Monday through
Friday and her office is located
in the Attendance Office. Mrs.
Denison generally sees those
students who are considered "at
risk". Students who may have
significant academic, social,
behavioral, and/or familial
issues. She meets with students
individually and in small
groups, and with parents and
guardians. Mrs. Denison also
conducts classroom presentations
on such topics as Yellow Ribbon
(suicide prevention), Red Ribbon
(substance abuse prevention),
and bullying. Mrs. Denison
supervises the mentoring program
at JMS. This program allows
staff to mentor individual
students and provide a positive
role model. Mrs. Denison
facilitates educational support
groups throughout the school
year on issues such as grief and
loss, divorce, and coping
skills. Mrs. Denison is also
available to provide parents and
guardians with various community

Mr. Morin

Notes Mr.
Morin is at JMS on Wednesdays.
He sees students for academic
and personal concerns. He is a
counselor at the high school the
remainder of the week. Mr. Morin
also assists 7th and 8th grade
students in creating their
Educational Development Plans
using a program called Career
Cruising. He presents
information related to
post-secondary planning, goal
setting, and career preparation
at different times throughout
the year.
